He's really skillful, so he built many things to make the place more comfortable and useful as well as safe for their son. Little by little he has been growing up a vegetable garden, which has been getting bigger lately. I love the fact I can pick my dessert up from the bush. And, as he has got some chickens he's growing some corn to feed them.

Growing up
Some time ago I spent a weekend at my brother's countryside house. He's living where my grandparents used to have the animals and a small house with a little swimming pool (all built by my granduncle). It's located in a quiet place where there are not motorways, just ground roads. It's relative near from the city, but far enough for being in complete silence at night. Just with the crickets song, if you like it as I do you'd love it as I do.

Keep going
I've been quite busy lately, and not in a pleasant way. That's why I didn't feel like writing or posting anything. But, after a too long period of meditation I've decided I need to keep doing things. I've never posted regularly, but the truth is I've never try it. So, posting more is one of my August goals (which are several and not easy, just because I've never done it before). I'll do my best.
I've about one hundred thing that I want to share with you, so I'll prepare carefully every single one. First of all, because this is a short post and I want to start big small things, I'd like to know if you have ever seen this strange animal: the pangolin. It's not an armadillo, it walks with the two posterior legs. For me it was an amazing discovery.

I found this photo here. It's adorable, and it makes me remember "Avatar" (maybe the eyes).

There are lots of things I miss from Nottingham. For example, one of the prettiest shop ever, "Le Chien et Moi". The treatment is perfect, they're so kind, friendly and helpful. And all the things are disposed in the most exquisite way. I love the smell and all the colours match with the shop. It's a relaxing place where you can find all kinds of treasures and antiques, and also amusing things. It's a beautiful shop with a special feeling, I could spend hours and hours inside it.
I saw the shop from the pavement many times in my way to the Nottingham Language Academy, and I went just a couple of times, but just seeing it from the outside was very nice. The colour they painted the shop is gorgeous, as well as the main door. You can see it here in their website, which is also very cute.
They packed all with lots of love and care. I love the stamp, they have a beautiful logo, and also a beautiful dog, very friendly. I loved when she came to say hello. I was surprised when I saw that they have "Merchant & Mills" products. I bought this fantastic needles, they're very strong, perfect for my cardboard sewing.
And I saw this lovely fabric tape with nature motifs, also amazing. It's perfect for my snail mail packages. I'd use it for everything!
So, if you're in Nottingham or you go for a quick visit, you should come in and say hello to and say "Hello" to Mulberry (Le Chien).
